Dennis C Cook, J.D.

Dennis Cook started his legal career in 1982. He founded the law firm of Cook & Associates, P.C. in Laramie, Wyoming in 1993. Dennis is a Laramie native. He and his wife Margi, have three children, Jennifer, Craig and Scott. Dennis served as a United States Air Force pilot from 1972 to 1979 and then served with the Wyoming Air National Guard as a pilot until 1993 when he retired as a command pilot with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Dennis obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1972 and his Juris Doctor Degree in 1982 from the University of Wyoming. Dennis is admitted to practice law in Wyoming.

Dennis is a member of the American Bar Association; the Wyoming State Bar; Wealth Counsel, a national organization of Estate and Business Law professionals; and Elder Counsel, a national organization of Elder Law professionals. He is a graduate of the Global Center for Wealth Strategies Planning Masters Program. Today, estate planning, business planning, business succession planning, Medicaid planning, retirement planning, wealth planning, and trust administration constitute over ninety percent of the firm's services. Dennis has written numerous estate planning articles and presented programs to many public and professional organizations. Dennis is a contributing author to a business planning book entitled "Strictly Business: Planning Strategies for Privately Owned Businesses." Dennis appears in the Wyoming PBS television series about estate planning entitled "Leave a Legacy" that broadcasts on Wyoming PBS.
